        What’s included in the full immersion program?

        Your enrollment covers:
        • Daily Spanish lessons with professional instructors.
        • Locally sourced, homecooked breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
        • Guided cultural activities like cooking classes, hiking, and dance lessons.
        • Two excursions to Iguaque National Park and Raquira pottery village.
        • Transportation for all group activities and excursions.
        • Transportation to and from Bogota.

        Can I customize the experience?

        All our programs are customizable and can be tailored to your specific needs. Feel free to reach out today and our team will be happy to answer any questions you have about our custom programs. 

        What’s the weather like?

        Bogotá has a cool, spring-like climate year-round, with temperatures averaging 10–19°C (50–66°F) and frequent rain. Villa de Leyva, in contrast, has a drier and warmer climate, with temperatures ranging from 12–24°C (54–75°F) and plenty of sunshine. We recommend bringing layers and a light rain jacket for Bogotá and comfortable clothing for Villa de Leyva’s warmer days.

        What is not Included in the full immersion program?

        The program excludes:
        • Rooms are not included. You can book one of the private rooms on our website located in the Hacienda or stay off site in a nearby hotel.
        • Dinner is not included.
        • Flights or travel to Villa de Leyva.
        • Travel insurance (highly recommended).
        • Optional activities or personal purchases during free time.

        Is Colombia safe?

        Yes, safety is our top priority. Villa de Leyva is a peaceful and welcoming town, and our program operates in secure, high-quality venues. Our team is experienced in hosting international participants and will be available 24/7 for support.

        During excursions, professional guides ensure your safety, and we follow all recommended protocols for activities. Additionally, we encourage participants to purchase travel insurance for added peace of mind.

        Do I need travel insurance?

        While travel insurance is not mandatory, we highly recommend it. Travel insurance can provide coverage for unexpected events such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost belongings. It adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind during your time with us.
